Description
Irish Moss is a red seaweed that grows along the rocky coasts of the North Atlantic in North America and Europe that is often called “the collagen of the sea.” It’s best known as a natural source of carrageenan – a type of vegetarian gelatin. Use this sustainably harvested superfood as a roux to add to stir-fries, rice, beans, bread, baked goods and smoothies. It can also be used as a clarifying agent when brewing beer.
